The Kids’ Zone & XA Club
There’s so much going on for kids of all ages at Watergate Bay. Each day is a big adventure with fantastic organised activities, evening entertainment, our ‘Kids’ Zone’ and the 'XA Club' where they can play safely and meet new friends. And with two miles of amazing sandy beach right outside the door, your children will never want to go home.

Evening supervision – 3-7 years (all year round)
Between 6:30pm and 9:30pm The Kids’ Zone is fully supervised to allow guests to enjoy dinner without interruption. The assistants can only supervise children aged 3 – 7. Parents must remain within The Hotel grounds while their children are taking part in evening supervision and there are limited places available. Parents who are not staying at The Hotel but are dining at either The Hotel Brasserie, The Beach Hut, the Living Space or Fifteen Cornwall can take advantage of our fantastic Kids’ Zone and evening supervision. Prices per child start from £7 per hour. Places must be booked in advance.

Evening supervision – 7-12 years (school holidays)
Evening supervision and entertainment is available for 7-12 year olds during the school holidays within our Games Room. This includes table tennis, table football, crafts, internet access and games consoles including Xbox PlayStation and Wii. We show PG or U rated films each evening and weather permitting we arrange beach games too.

Baby listening
The Hotel operates a baby listening service which can also be used at The Beach Hut and Fifteen Cornwall. This is an electronic system and is used in conjunction with our telephone system. Responsibility for the child remains with the parents at all times and it is recommended that parents check on their children regularly. Parents are not permitted to leave The Hotel grounds when using the service.

Baby sitting
We can provide a babysitter between 6pm and 2am, so that you can enjoy an evening out! All of our babysitters are Kids’ Zone staff. The minimum booking time is 3 hours and fees will be charged to your room account. Please give us at least 24 hours to arrange a sitter for you.

Children’s meals
We are happy to puree any of our freshly prepared food for your baby. A secure parents’ kitchen with microwave, washing up facilities and fridge is available at all times and high chairs are supplied in all our restaurants. An early tea is served at 5pm in the Brasserie for children or they can join their parents in the Brasserie for dinner, if preferred.
